BIBLE SUNDAY IS FEBRUARY 23

Fulfilling the baptismal promise of placing the Holy Scriptures in your Child's hand, Calvary will continue the tradition of giving all First Graders their own Bible.

If you have a child eligible for this gift and did not receive an email - please contact the church office.

First Holy Communion Instruction for Third Graders begins February 23.

If you are a parent of a child in the third grade and have not received an email regarding this important milestone please email the church office for more information.

CAN YOU HELP?

>Volunteers are needed to organize and clean-up several places in the church.  Having a team would be great and make the work go faster.

>Someone knowledgeable about stamps and stamp collecting is needed as Calvary was given a stamp collection and now needs some guidance on how to value and possibly sell it.

>Members are needed to represent Calvary at the NJ Synod Assembly June 5-7 in East Brunswick. Calvary can send two voting members and a third, if one is under 30 years old. We are electing a new synod bishop this year.

If you can help in any of the above ways, please email the office.  Thank You!

LOOKING AHEAD TO

LENT and HOLY WEEK

The season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on March 5th. On this day, we confess our sin in a litany of repentance. During Lent’s forty days we

are invited to carry out the Lenten discipline, practices of fasting, prayer, and works of love.

Service times and other Lenten activities will be announced as we draw closer to Ash Wednesday.

Keep alert for announcements in worship, printed on the bulletin, posted on the notice boards, and included in weekly “Sunday’s Coming” emails.

Our Vision

GROW

Young or old, we are all on a faith journey.  Come with us as we grow in our relationship with Christ. Wherever you are on your faith journey or in your relationship with God, you are welcome here.

CONNECT

Sharing in each others lives outside of worship makes Calvary a family.  We gather to support each other as we strive to live out our Christian values everyday.

SERVE

Calvary has a strong history rooted in serving our community and the world.  By serving others, we thank God for the many gifts God has given us. We invite you to discover with us how you can bring Christ's Kingdom to your corner
of this world.
We serve Christ in and through the church and we welcome your hands and hearts in this place.
