Calvary will again this year be participating in the Jersey Cares Coat Drive. New or “gently used coats” may be dropped off in the narthex.

Call the church office as soon as possible if you are interested in going. Tickets go on sale in mid-November and will sell out fast, so please let us know soon! We have volunteers to drive those who need a ride!

THANKSGIVING BOUNTY FOOD DRIVE
Now through November 24th
We will collect food for Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in East Orange and
St. Clare’s Resource Center
for Children (Newark).
Bags and lists can be picked up in the narthex. Below is the list of items.
Thank you!
1 can of fruit, 2 cans of vegetables,
1 can sweet or white potatoes,
1 box of cereal or oatmeal,
1 can or jar of coffee,
1 Parmalat milk, 1 can of soup,
1 can of tuna, 1 box of pasta or rice
Shoprite or ACME gift cards are also welcomed.

CALVARY CHRISTMAS ANGELS
This year, Calvary will partner with the Rahway Community Action Organization to purchase Christmas presents for children with limited economic resources. Check out the “Angel Tree Ornaments” on the Christmas tree in the narthex. Listed on the tree ornament is the child’s name, age and the requested item. Please purchase the item and return UNWRAPPED to the narthex by December 7th.
