Fall Senior Social Gathering

Please join us for lunch and to celebrate the season of thankfulness by packing
lunches for Bridges Outreach. They will distribute the lunches to those in need in our local Union County area. We will also be making crafts for our homebound members to help them
celebrate the Thanksgiving season. We look forward to seeing you!
2025 JERSEY CARES COAT DRIVE
November 16 until January 4, 2026
Calvary will again this year be participating in the Jersey Cares Coat Drive. New or “gently used coats” may be dropped off in the narthex.

Union County Day of Prayer
Wednesday, November 19 at 7pm
Calvary will host this year's
Union County Day of Prayer (sponsored by the Union County Interfaith
Coordinating Council). This event invites individuals of all faiths to collectively reflect and speak of peace. Come
join us as we gather together in readings, prayers and songs of all faiths.

This service gives our younger siblings in Christ a chance to learn about God’s call to worship in community, to come to the Lord’s Supper, and to be sent out into a world in need of God’s love.
THANKSGIVING BOUNTY FOOD DRIVE
Now through November 24th
We will collect food for Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in East Orange and
St. Clare’s Resource Center
for Children (Newark).
Bags and lists can be picked up in the narthex. Below is the list of items.
Thank you!
1 can of fruit, 2 cans of vegetables,
1 can sweet or white potatoes,
1 box of cereal or oatmeal,
1 can or jar of coffee,
1 Parmalat milk, 1 can of soup,
1 can of tuna, 1 box of pasta or rice
Shoprite or ACME gift cards are also welcomed.
Join us after church on November 16th for a special Advent Wreath Crafting Fellowship! Each family will make an Advent Wreath to help prepare for Christmas!
To help us with this craft - trace your hands on the green cardstock in the Narthex. On craft day, each wreath will be made with a variety of hands all belonging to our beautiful, caring church community.
